About This Item
The tee takes a branch off a running line at ninety degrees. An equal tee keeps all three openings the same size; a reducing tee drops the branch to a smaller size, which is the usual arrangement when you take a half-inch feed off a one-inch main. Moulded in the same UPVC compound as the pipe so the solvent weld fuses into a single piece of plastic rather than merely sticking two parts together.
