About This Item

A sliding barrel bolt that holds a door or window shut from the inside. The bolt runs in a cast barrel and drops into a separate keeper on the frame; a notch at each end of the travel parks the knob so the bolt cannot creep open as the door is used. Brass for bathrooms and front doors, stainless steel where the bolt is exposed to rain, and black powder-coated iron for the traditional look. Sizes run from a four inch bolt for a cupboard up to a twelve inch for a tall double door.
